Finishes:
Public Safety Badges from The Badge Company of New
Jersey are available in Nickel, Rhodium, or Gold
finishes, or in two-tone combinations. Nickel is quite
hard and durable although it can tarnish as it ages.
Rhodium is a bright white-silver finish in the platinum
family, and is highly resistant to tarnishing. Gold is a
pure 24K electroplate finish that is highly resistant to
tarnishing.
Lettering & Enamel: Lettering on Public Safety Badges
from The Badge Company of New Jersey is available in either
Block or Roman styles. Black, Blue, and Red enamel lettering is
available, with additional colors available on a special-order
basis. Enamel is available in either regular or hard (flush).
Some badge styles are available only with certain combinations.
Reverse-enamel badges may incur a die charge if a specific title
is not available.
Types: Most Public Safety Badges from The Badge Company
of New Jersey are available as shell back or solid back.
However, some styles are available only with one or the other so
inquire if you have a specific preference.
Seals: The Badge Company of New Jersey has available not
only the New Jersey State Seal but also the seals of all 50
states and most specialty seals such as EMS, Hazmat, and
Chaplain. The New Jersey State Seal is available in one-color
and full-color versions, with and without borders. All state
seals are available in several sizes.
Attachments: Public Safety Badges from The Badge Company
of New Jersey are available with your choice of Pin & Safety,
Wallet Clip, or Screw Post rear attachment. Specialty
attachments are available on a special-order basis.
Care: To preserve the beauty and luster of your badge,
wash it occasionally with a mild soap and warm water. Then, dry
with a clean, soft cloth. Do not use harsh detergents or
solvents, and do not scrub your badge with a brush or use an
abrasive cleaner or polish, as this will damage the surface of
the badge.
Warranty & Repair: All Public Safety Badges from The
Badge Company of New Jersey carry our Lifetime “Forever
Warranty” – if ever your badge needs repair, just send it back
to us and we’ll do the job at no charge. This warranty covers
attachment and integrity of all panels, seals and fasteners. Not
covered is wear and damage from normal use or abuse. Worn or
damaged badges often can be repaired at a reasonable cost, but
some conditions are beyond repair. Contact our office to assess
any damage or wear your badge may exhibit and the associated
repair costs. If you have a badge that is worn or damaged such
that it cannot be repaired, we offer a trade-in program that
will give you a substantial discount toward the purchase of a
new badge of the same style and detail.
